Η Mediterranean Maritime Academy είναι Ναυτική Ακαδημία εγκεκριμένη από το Υφυπουργείο Εμπορικής Ναυτιλίας και έχει 2 προγράμματα σπουδών, Πλοιάρχων και Μηχανικών. 

Η φοίτηση είναι 3ετής, με δύο χρόνια στη σχολή και ένα χρόνο εκπαιδευτικό ταξίδι (9 μήνες το διδακτικό έτος). 

Συγκεκριμένα αφού τελειώσει ο πρώτος χρόνος φοίτησης, ακολουθεί το πρώτο εκπαιδευτικό ταξίδι, κατόπιν ο δεύτερος χρόνος φοίτησης και στη συνέχεια το δεύτερο εκπαιδευτικό ταξίδι μέχρι τη συμπλήρωση 12 μηνών. 

Κατά την διάρκεια της πρακτικής επί πλοίου, το Υφυπουργείο Ναυτιλίας επιδοτεί τους σπουδαστές με το ποσό των 7200€  για τους 12 μήνες, επιπλέον από τον μισθό που θα προσφέρει η εταιρεία. 

Τα τμήματα είναι εξάωρα πρωινά ή απογευματινά Δευτέρα με Παρασκευή. 

Τα μαθήματα γίνονται στα Ελληνικά.

Μετά την ολοκλήρωση της 3ετους φοίτησης, οι δόκιμοι αποκτούν δίπλωμα  Αξιωματικού του Εμπορικού Ναυτικού από το ΥΦΥΠΟΥΡΓΕΙΟ ΝΑΥΤΙΛΙΑΣ.

Το δίπλωμα είναι ισότιμο όλων των ΕΥΡΩΠΑΪΚΩΝ διπλωμάτων.

Mediterranean Maritime Academy is a nautical academy approved by the deputy ministry of shipping in Cyprus, and it offers two training programmes – Officer in charge of a navigational watch and Officer in charge of an engineering watch.

The duration of the certificate is three years (two years of studies plus one year of sea service.)

Specifically, after the end of the first year the cadets will start the six-month sea service and then the second year of studies. Afterwards the second six-month sea service trip will follow until the 12-month service is completed.

During the sea service on board the deputy ministry of shipping offers a subsidy to the students for the amount of €7200 (600 per month) plus the shipping company’s salary as a cadet. 

We offer a six-hour classes from 08:00 – 14:00 or 15:00 – 21:00 Monday to Friday.

Our classes are in Greek language.

By the end of the three-year studies the cadets will receive the Merchant Navy Officer certificate which is equal to any other European certificate.
